Artisitc Statement

Rakel Saranga currently a undergrad student at Berklee College of Music double majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production as well as Performance. She is a singer songwriter as well as an arranger that takes inspiration from all kinds of music like jazz, pop, latin, middle eastern, ethnic… She has a wide understanding of many music styles due to her eclectic upbringing and having lived in countries like Turkey, Germany, Israel and The US. She love the process of taking a musical ideas and developing them to the point that the arrangement has a sound of its own that is very different than the original but still carries the essence of it. Her appreciation and deep understanding of many music styles makes her the right fit for connecting with different artist all around world.
